These Pacas trees were grown from the seeds of Pacas "Viejo" discovered by the Pacas Family at Finca Santa Petrona and do well on this high altitude farm along with other small lots of experimental varietals the family grows here - Gesha, Sampacho, SL28, Anacafe 14, Portillo, and others! San Jose is the largest farm the Pacas family owns, and every year there are renovations on this farm to increase yields and improve quality. This coffee is a wonderful example of the sweet, chocolate-forward profile found in Central American coffees!
