In collaboration with Howl Arts in NYC -a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the past and celebrating the contemporary culture of the East Village and Lower East Side- DMC is proud to release this Artuo Vega bag!
This April, Howl! is presenting "Arturo Vega: The Merch Master." Arturo Vega was a legendary Mexican-American aritst who is most famously known for creating the Ramones logo, along with the very concept of the band T-shirt itself! The bag features a Vega piece titled "Empire."
With one of the flags on the art representing Honduras, this brings us to the coffee:
Santa Rosa de Copán, located in western Honduras, has long been considered one of the country’s coffee capitals. Over time, it has developed into a natural hub for coffee — with multiple milling operations and warehouses, supported by a stable, temperate climate that is well-suited for storing both parchment and green coffee. Coffee from surrounding regions across western Honduras is often funneled into Santa Rosa, making it a key point in the supply chain.
Behind the particular coffee in this bag is a family operation that began its journey in the mid-1980s. Since then, the focus has been on consistency — both in farm management and in cup profile.
